Harley's Story
Harley - Professional Ankle Greeter. Part-Time Toy Demolition Expert. Full-Time Mystery.

Some cats make a dramatic entrance. Harley prefers to make a dramatic exit...from the top of his favorite perch when one of his favorite humans walks in. That's your signal that you've officially made his VIP list.

Harley is a shy guy at first, but once he decides you're trustworthy, he'll happily rub against your ankles, stand up on his back legs to politely request more pets, and remind you that friendship is earned—not rushed. He's not much of a lap cat, but he's definitely a "hang out nearby while you admire me" kind of gentleman.

Harley has some old soft tissue damage in his front shoulders that gives him a unique walk, but don't let that fool you. The second a toy hits the floor, this boy launches into full-speed zoomie mode like he's auditioning for the Kitty Olympics. Whatever happened before he came to us clearly didn't steal his joy.

He gets along well with other cats (especially his best buddy Madden) and would probably appreciate a quieter home where he can settle in at his own pace.

Harley's Highlights:
Greets his favorite people like they're celebrities.
Walks a little differently—but outruns expectations every single day.
Olympic-level toy chaser.
Looking for patient humans who understand that the best friendships take a little time.

If you're searching for a sweet, quirky guy who will quietly become your biggest fan, Harley is waiting to make you part of his exclusive ankle-rubbing club.

Estimated Birthday: July 2022
Arrived at HOKAFI: July 2024

Drop in Saturdays from 12-3 to meet our adoptable cats and dogs or contact us to schedule an appointment.

Visit our website to see our other adoptable cats and dogs at https://helenkrause.org/.
