Hello! My name is Happy and I’m a 3 year old boy with short, glossy fur. I got my name because it describes my personality purrfectly. I’m just a happy boy! In fact my foster family calls me Hap or Happy Boy a lot.<br/><br/>I’m super affectionate and love to be petted all over. When you enter the room I often beep or “talk” to you a little to show I’m happy to see you. I am happy to let you pet me for a long time and like to have my neck scratched. I even accept some belly rubs. <br/><br/>I enjoy nuzzling and rubbing my head on you, the wall, and my toys. I’m a really easy going guy who just likes being around you. I also like being brushed and I really like to play! I like shaker mice, wand toys, balls and little sticks the best, but really anything will do. If you throw a toy I love running after it, often sliding right past it. It’s good that I like to play because I do need someone to help me continue on my weight loss journey. But I’m doing really well so far! <br/><br/>You can typically find me making biscuits with my paws whether I’m laying down, standing, or even walking around. Doesn’t matter where I am, I’m still making biscuits! I definitely have “happy” feet! When I’m not making biscuits, and sometimes when I am, I also love to purr. <br/><br/>As far as cat friends, I’d be good solo or with maybe another cat with proper intros. I’d probably like a family with older kids or adults. I get so happy to see you that I’m underfoot sometimes, so a home with young children or anyone with balance issues probably isn’t the right one for me. Also, honestly, I’m not sure I’d want a dog friend. <br/><br/>I am neutered, vaccinated, flea treated and dewormed, and I’ve tested negative for FIV/FeLV.
