Hamantha Spring Garden's Story

Personality types:
Energizer cat - Wants to play 24/7.
Part-time lover - Wants to be in the same room but also likes their space.
Professional Cuddler - Affectionate, loves to snuggle and be close.

Hamantha (or Ham for short) was found in the desolate industrial landscape of 9th and Spring Garden ahead of a snow storm. After escaping a faulty trap (twice!) and protesting her capture with meows the likes of which have never heard, she came to her foster home where she stole everyone’s hearts.
Ham earned her name for being just that. She is brave, playful, affectionate, and hilarious. A born socialite, she loves to make new feline friends! When she’s not focused on the other cats in the house, she will pick a human to follow closely and yell at until they take a seat so she can take hers, right on their lap!

Ham experiences zoomies that rival the most famous felines of the internet in their outrageousness. As she skitters across the floor, the sound she makes resembles something adorable, but maybe demonic. These sessions are followed up with her belly to the sky, paws extended, and dead asleep - that is until she senses a refill at her food bowl might be imminent.

Ham is a one-of-a-kind girl who would thrive with another cat or very attentive owners! She loves to play on her own as much as she does with others. Saying goodbye to this special girl will be bittersweet!

Ham is spayed, FeLV and FIV negative, current on shots, treated for fleas and worms, microchipped, and litter box trained.

It is Project MEOW's policy that kittens are either adopted with another cat or kitten, or go to a new family that already has a cat or kitten for companionship.

Adoption fee: $125 (plus tax)

To adopt, please fill out an application at www.projectmeow.org/adopt/adoption-application/

For additional information, contact us at adoptions@projectmeow.org

Project MEOW is a 501(c)3 non-profit animal rescue organization and is dedicated to saving the lives of West Philadelphia's homeless, abandoned, and unwanted animals.

Thank you for looking to rescue a furbaby!
