Haku's Story
?? HAKU & BAZ ARE STILL WAITING FOR THEIR FOREVER HOME ?? How are these two incredible boys still waiting? Haku and Baz have been through more change and heartbreak than any cats should have to experience, but somehow they came out the other side with an extraordinary bond. They found safety in each other, and now they are ready to find a family of their own. They are a package deal. ?? Haku is the outgoing one. He is confident, social, ridiculously charming and absolutely certain that every person he meets has been placed on this earth specifically to adore him. He loves attention, loves being involved in whatever you're doing and has never met a lap he didn't consider available. There is, however, one important Haku rule: ?? DO NOT RUB THE BELLY. It may look fluffy. It may look inviting. It may appear to be offered freely. It is a trap. Admire the belly. Compliment the belly. Respect the belly from a safe distance. ?? Baz, on the other hand? ?? RUB. THAT. BELLY. Baz is the softer, gentler half of this duo. Once he knows he is safe, he melts into affection and absolutely loves having his belly rubbed. Watching this once-broken boy learn that people can be trusted and that hands can bring love has been one of the greatest joys of knowing him. And we have some exciting news for anyone who fell in love with these boys but already has a feline family member: ?? Haku and Baz CAN go to a home with another cat! As always, introductions should be slow and thoughtful, but having another kitty in the home does not rule you out. Dogs, however? ?? ABSOLUTE DEAL BREAKER. Haku has opinions about dogs. Strong opinions. Deeply held opinions. Opinions that are not open for discussion, debate, mediation or diplomatic negotiation. Haku would like his future home to be a dog-free sovereign nation, thank you very much. ?? And, most importantly, Haku and Baz cannot be separated from each other. These boys chose one another when they both needed someone. Haku helped Baz learn how to live again, and somewhere along the way they became family. We will not ask them to lose another family. So if you have room in your home for two ridiculous, loving, completely unforgettable boys, please consider Haku and Baz. One likes belly rubs. One considers belly rubs a declaration of war. Cats are welcome. Dogs need not apply. And both would very much like a home. ????click here
