Found huddled together inside a tire that was slowly filling with water, their future was uncertain. Their mother was nearby, so the kittens were dried off and left with a cozy outdoor shelter and warming pad, hoping she would return to care for them.<br/><br/>The next day, however, it became clear the little ones needed help. All four had developed upper respiratory infections, and despite medication and careful monitoring while momma watched from a distance, she never returned to feed them. At what appeared to be nearly two weeks old, with their eyes fully open, two of the kittens weighed only 4.4 ounces, about the size of newborns.<br/><br/>After weeks of round-the-clock bottle feeding, medication, and lots of love, these tiny storm survivors have transformed into happy, healthy kittens. Atascosa Animal Allies's Adoption Policy
Our adoption fees include: spay/neuter, heartworm testing, age appropriate vaccinations, treatment for intestinal/external parasites and heartworm and flea/tick prevention for DOGS. Spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccinations, internal/external parasite treatment for CATS. ADOPTION FEES are $200 per dog/puppy and $35-$150 per cat/kitten
