Meet Gustavo!

Gustavo is an adorable Domestic Shorthair grey tabby, born February 20, 2026.

Gustavo had a rough start in life. He was found wandering the streets with two little companions when he was very young. Sadly, one sibling passed away shortly after rescue. Gustavo was lovingly raised as an orphan for several weeks until he was introduced to other orphaned kittens, where he found a new little family.

Gustavo is the mischievous one of the kitten clan, but we think that just displays his intelligence! He is smart, curious, playful, and always looking for his next adventure—or a chance to escape the playpen! But his favorite destination is your arms, where he loves to be held, cuddled, kissed, and showered with affection.

He is full of energy and loves playing with balls, strings, and paper towel rolls. When playtime is over, he is happy to settle in for some cuddles and purrs.
Gustavo is a sweet, playful little guy with a big personality, and he can't wait to find his forever family!

Safe Haven for Animals's Adoption Policy
Our Adoption Process We have a clear and well-structured process in place to find the best possible homes for our animals in need. This process begins with you filling out our Adoption Request Form designed to collect important details and insights from potential adopters so we can match you with the best possible pet. Once complete, we move forward by setting up a visit for you to meet our cats in person. One of our Adoption Coordinators will provide a tour of our facility and introduce you to our available cats. Our adoption coordinators have extensive knowledge of every cat and can help answer questions about individual personalities, habits, and special needs. Should you decide to choose a specific cat during this meeting, we then schedule a home visit to deliver your new pet, ensure it’s a safe and suitable environment, and provide a care kit for the new pet. To support a smooth transition, we also make a follow-up call about a week later to see how everything is going to ensure both the adopter and the cat are settling in well together.
