Gus's Story
This beautiful feather duster tail comes as part of a two-purr-one! Broc and Gus are a bonded pair of male cats who came into the shelter after being left in the home. The change to shelter life has been hard for them, and they are still getting to know us (as we get to know them), though they've made progress in their brief time in this chaotic environment! Gus opened up first, and while he is still hesitant, he enjoys being pet and will rub up on the cage to solicit attention and give head butts. He reportedly enjoyed a good brushing from staff as well. He seems to be low-key overall but will almost surely be the more outgoing of this duo!

Due to their background, we are unsure how Broc and Gus feel about living with other cats, dogs, or small children. We think based on behavior so far that these mature boys would enjoy a more laidback home where they can adjust at their own pace. You never know though-introverted cats can surprise you once they settle in! Sometimes a shelter-shy guy is the most loving companion of all.
