Guppy's Story

Meet Angelfish and Guppy! Two little fish who are ready to swim into the next chapter of their lives!

These two came to us from a TNR site, but their personalities are as unique as the creatures of the sea.

Angelfish came in already loving people! She's confident, curious, and ready to take on the world. This girl isn't afraid to explore new waters, and she's sure to make a wonderful companion for someone ready to welcome her into their life.

Guppy has been around humans, but he hasn't always known what it means to be loved. Foster life is teaching him that people can be pretty wonderful! Treats, safety, gentle affection, and a soft place to land are helping him discover that the waters aren't so scary after all. He's making progress, and with a little patience, his confidence will continue to grow.

These two have not been around dogs or children, so a home with older, respectful children or adults only would be the best fit. Both would also benefit from having a feline companion. And Guppy? He'd be especially happy if he could keep swimming through life alongside his buddy Angelfish!

Could you be the safe harbor these two have been waiting for? Angelfish is ready to dive right in, and Guppy just needs someone willing to show him that love is a pretty wonderful ocean to explore.

Angelfish and Guppy are ready to find their Home, Sweet Home!

Everybody loves kittens, and it's easy to see why! Kittens four months old or younger are only adopted out in pairs or to homes that already have a friendly, playful resident cat. Young kittens simply do not thrive in isolation, and we do not make exceptions. If you're looking for a single cat, please look to our older kittens, teens, or adults. They're wonderful companions and fully ready to be your one-and-only.

All of the Sweet Paws animals are loved a great deal by their rescuers, fosters, and the volunteers who've cared for them along the way. Your kitten will be up to date on appropriate vaccinations by adoption day, but please keep in mind that kittens require multiple routine vet visits throughout the course of their first year. Sweet Paws is staffed by volunteers, and processing applications is time intensive; therefore, we ask that you only submit an application if you are fully committed to adopting.
