Guppy - 3 Legs, No problem!'s Story
Meet Guppy — the unstoppable little fish who learned to swim again!

Guppy’s story starts in a place no kitten should ever have to survive. When we first met him, he was living all alone under a concrete staircase beside a railroad track — tiny, scared, and trying his best to make it in a world that had not been kind to him. It was clear he wouldn’t have lasted much longer out there on his own. We trapped him just in time, and from that day on, Guppy’s life completely changed.

Not long after rescue, we discovered his back leg had been badly injured. It was holding him back from growing, playing, and living without pain — so off it went, and that’s when the real Guppy began to shine. Once healed, he realized three legs were plenty for the kind of life he wanted to live.

Now, Guppy is pure joy in motion. His zoomies are legendary — fast, fearless, and full of mischief. He races up and down stairs, scales tall cat trees, and keeps up with his four-legged friends like nothing ever slowed him down. You’ll often find him perched proudly on the highest tower, looking down with a mix of pride and playful smugness that says, *“Told you I could do it.”*

Guppy is especially bonded to the younger kittens in his foster home. He plays hard, cuddles close, and has a soft spot for curling up in a warm pile of friends when playtime’s done. Because of this, Guppy will need a young feline companion in his forever home — or he’d be thrilled to be adopted with one of his rescue buddies.

He can be a bit shy at first with new people, preferring to quietly observe before deciding you’re worthy of his trust. But once he does, you’ll be rewarded with endless purrs, gentle head bumps, and that heart-melting moment when he chooses your lap as his safe place.

From a lonely kitten under a staircase to a confident, loving tripod full of life and energy — Guppy is proof that love can completely rewrite a story. ??

**Age:** ~5 months
**Personality:** Playful, curious, affectionate once comfortable
**Special features:** Three legs, infinite spirit, and record-breaking zoomies
**Good with:** Other cats (especially kittens), gentle dogs, and patient humans
**Needs:** A young feline friend or one of his current kitten buddies to join him in his forever home

If you’re ready to welcome a brave little survivor who turns every obstacle into an adventure, Guppy is waiting to swim his way straight into your heart.

Email us with any questions at all! hello@milosbravestfriends.org
