Gunther @ Foster Home

Gunther is a handsome cat who is ready to adopt! He was a favorite resident at Fat Cat Books, but he's recently been spending some vacation time in a foster home. He enjoys perching on cat trees, draping over bookshelves, and being near people. He isn’t really a lap cat, but if you’re relaxing at home, he always wants to be nearby. He doesn't mind other cats, but mainly keeps his distance from them and does his own thing.<br/><br/>Gunther has severe arthritis, and requires a monthly injection of a medication called Solensia. This medication transformed his quality of life and allows him to be more comfortable every day. He can still be a little sassy because of arthritis pain, but his personality greatly improved on the medication. It is an absolute requirement and he is considered special needs for this reason. <br/><br/>Gunther needs an adopter who can be patient with him and understands his needs. They will need to be willing to take them to the vet once per month for his medication. They will be rewarded by the strikingly handsome Gunther sharing their home and enjoying their company!
