Meet Grover, a ten-year-old cat who, while laid-back and easy-going, still has strong and healthy spurts of energy like a kitten! At times he wants a good snooze for 10 hours straight! But once he wakes up, he switches gears and is an engaging baby who wants to be told he is a good boy. And of course, Grover is such a good boy! He’s a biscuit-making kitty with a constant purr. He loves chasing tinsel balls around and – to give himself an extra challenge -tossing them in tunnels. Then he’ll bring them to you, to start the chase over again! Are you seeking a cuddlebug, who loves sleeping with you in bed – or anywhere you decide to take a nap? Then Grover is the special kitty you are seeking! While we know Grover was a single cat in his previous home, we’ve learned that he loves spending time with feline companions and playmates. In fact, Grover enjoys nothing more than a good wrestling match with a willing partner! For this reason, we plan to place Grover in an adoptive home that has a playful, cat-friendly kitty, in need of a buddy! <br/><br/>Sadly, Grover’s former human was found deceased in their home. Grover spent a few days by himself until first responders arrived and discovered him. We believe Grover was a beloved pet before, and he deserves to be a beloved pet again. For all he’s gone through, the loss of his home and his person, Grover is a trusting cat who wants nothing more than to be loved, and to give love in return.
