Grizzy is our XL classic tabby at the shelter, and he is probably fed up with our shenanigans. He just wants a mellow couch to chill out on, maybe bask in the sun, and get treats when you get home from work. Hampton County Animal Shelter's Adoption Policy

Potential adopters must schedule an appointment to meet with our animals. After they find a pet they believe would be a good fit, they must fill out our adoption application. Once application is approved we encourage/require (if animal is unaltered) the adopter to take animal home on a 10-day foster trial. Once they have spent significant time with the animal and know they are the right fit, we will finalize the adoption by receiving the adoption fee and/or spaying/neutering the animal.
