Grizzly is a 9-year-old black domestic longhair with a story of resilience and quiet strength. He arrived at the shelter as a stray in rough condition, his coat painfully matted and his body showing the toll of life on the streets. Despite everything he’s been through, Grizzly has proven to be a gentle soul who’s ready to leave his difficult past behind.<br/>He has tested positive for FIV, which means he’ll do best as the only cat in the home or with another FIV-positive companion. With proper care, FIV+ cats can live long, happy lives, and Grizzly is no exception.<br/>Since arriving, he’s been getting the care he desperately needed, including relief from his severe matting—though he’s still missing some patches of fur as his coat recovers.
