Greta's Story

*Adoptions are currently by appointment. If you'd like to learn more or you are interested in adopting, please use the "Apply for Adoption" button to complete our adoption survey. This survey helps us learn more about you and answer any questions you may have, it is not a commitment to adopt.*

Greta is an adorable young Manx with a playful spirit and a heart full of love. Whether she's pouncing on her favorite toy, chasing after imaginary critters, or curling up for a nap with her best friend Wiley, Greta brings joy wherever she goes.

Greta and Wiley share an incredibly special bond, and they are looking for a home together. While Greta is still young and has so much life ahead of her, Wiley is sadly blind and facing a serious illness. Medical consults suggest he is likely suffering from lymphoma or FIP (neither are contagious, and neither have a great outcome). Now our greatest hope is that he can spend the rest of his days in the comfort of a loving home-with Greta by his side.

Choosing to adopt Greta and Wiley means opening your heart to both the joy and the heartbreak that comes with loving them. Greta will undoubtedly lean on her new family as she navigates the loss of her lifelong companion. In return, she'll fill your home with playful antics, sweet companionship, and the resilience that only animals seem to possess.

We're looking for a compassionate family willing to give Wiley the love he deserves for whatever time he has left, while also giving Greta the security, patience, and affection she'll need as she begins her next chapter.

If you have room in your home and your heart for this extraordinary pair, Greta and Wiley are ready to show you just how meaningful love can be.
