Greta's Story

Greta was an owner surrender who may come across as a grumpy cat at first, but beneath her tough and brave act is a social kitty who just needs time to feel safe. She can be quite hissy while in the kennel, likely because she's still adjusting to new surroundings, but once she starts to get comfortable, her sweeter side begins to show. She enjoys licking Churru treats from your fingers and will continue accepting treats even if she goes back to hissing afterward. She's a slow-progress kitty who will thrive in a patient, understanding home that can give her the extra time and space she needs to settle in. Because of this, she would do best in a home with older children. <br/>While she has been our care, the medical team diagnosed her with kitty stomatitis. Because of this, her teeth have been removed and she is now eating and slowly gaining the weight she lost because her teeth hurt. Greta needs some extra TLC and patience. With the right home, she could be the best kitty!
