Greg's Story

Greg has already lived through more than most--and somehow came out of it softer, sweeter, and still trusting.

He was found as a stray, surviving on a farm through the winter with a severely injured leg that had gone untreated far too long. By the time help reached him, the damage was too extensive to save it, and amputation was the only option. He also carries a little reminder of those cold nights with frostbitten ears... but if you ask Greg, none of that defines him.

What does define him?
A heart that just wants to love.

Greg is unbelievably affectionate--the kind of cat who leans into you, seeks you out, and soaks up every bit of attention like he's been saving it up his whole life. He's already adapting beautifully to life on three legs (cats are amazing like that), and he gets around just fine. Honestly, he doesn't miss a beat.

Greg is also FIV+, which simply means his immune system needs a little extra support. FIV is commonly misunderstood--it's primarily spread through deep bite wounds, not casual contact--so cats like Greg can safely live with other friendly, easygoing cats. With regular vet care and a loving home, FIV+ cats can live long, happy, completely normal lives.

He's not looking for pity--he's looking for his person.
A warm home. A soft place to land. Someone to remind him that the hard part is over.

If you're looking for a cat who will truly connect with you, Greg might just be your guy.
His adoption fee is $75 and he comes neutered, current on vaccines, tested positive for FIV and negative for FeLV, and microchipped.
