Grayson and Mikey are a bonded pair who take great comfort in one another and truly thrive together. Both have healthy appetites and are highly motivated by treats, which makes a great way to build trust. They love to play, explore, and curl up close, and their beautiful markings are just an added bonus. While they are not quite ready to be picked up yet, their socialization is progressing beautifully. With multiple experienced and gentle caregivers working with them daily, they grow more confident all the time. Each day brings them one step closer to happily seeking out affection and eventually leaping right into the arms of their people. If you were to ask Grayson and Mikey whether they would like to be adopted together, you would likely be met with an enthusiastic and howling “MEOW, MEOW, MEOW!” which of course means yes. Grayson is alert, frisky, and playful, with a slightly more cautious personality. He enjoys cuddling and gentle affection from people he knows and is taking his time adjusting to new faces and changes in his surroundings. Mikey is energetic, inquisitive, and playful. He enjoys gentle cuddling and pets from familiar hands and is learning to build trust with new caretakers. Curious by nature, he is becoming more comfortable as his world expands. We require a veterinary reference as well as personal references, ideally two from individuals who are not related to the adopter, to help us understand an adopter’s history of responsible pet care. When applicable, we also require proof of landlord permission to confirm that pets are allowed in the residence.
