Grape Kool-Aid is a 9–10 year old tuxedo cat with a sweet nature and a quiet grace. He came to us under heartbreaking circumstances after his beloved owner passed away, leaving behind the only life he had ever known. Grape Kool-Aid previously lived with 13 other cats, so this boy certainly knows a thing or two about sharing space, sharing sunbeams, and sharing the best spot on the couch.<br/><br/>When Grape Kool-Aid first came to us, he was in pretty rough shape. His skin and coat needed some serious TLC, and the stress of losing his home and his person understandably left him very scared and unsure. Thankfully, he has now been in a foster home for about a month, where he's finally getting the time, patience, and care he needs to heal.<br/><br/>And slowly but surely, we're starting to see him come out of his shell. He's still a very shy boy and will need a patient adopter who understands that trust takes time, but he's making progress every day. Even physically, he's already looking so much better—his skin and fur have improved tremendously since he first arrived, and it's amazing what a little love and proper care can do.<br/><br/>With a name like Grape Kool-Aid, you'd expect someone sweet, refreshing, and a little bit fun—and underneath that shy exterior, we know that sweetness is there. His medium-length tuxedo coat gives him a dapper, forever-dressed-up look, as though he's always ready for a special occasion.<br/><br/>Grape Kool-Aid has been through a lot of change at an age when he should have been enjoying the comfort and familiarity of home.
