Grape's Story

Meet Grape! This sweet 2-year-old girl is a friendly, easygoing cat who has lived comfortably with both people and other animals. She has been described as friendly with adults, children, and strangers, and she has done well around both cats and dogs. She may be a little cautious when she is frightened and will choose to hide, but once she feels comfortable, she enjoys being close to her people.

One of her favorite things is cuddling in bed with her person, so she could be a wonderful companion for someone looking for a cozy nighttime snuggle buddy. She has a lower energy level and enjoys gentle play, especially with string and feather toys. She also uses a scratching post, although she has a preference for carpet and vertical surfaces, so providing appropriate scratching options will be important in her new home.

Grape is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on her vaccines. All animals are adopted to individuals who agree to follow the guidelines outlined in the adoption contract. Adopters must be at least 18 years of age and are required to complete an adoption questionnaire, as well as provide valid identification and proof of current residence. Pets are placed in homes where they will be cared for primarily as indoor companions, and adopters must commit to providing lifelong care, including proper food, water, shelter, and regular exercise. Animals may be adopted as gifts in accordance with our gift adoption policy.
