Grant (c2025)'s Story

Hi, I'm Grant, but my friends also call me "Gramps."

I'm a 15-year-old senior gentleman with a soft heart, a sweet spirit, and a big desire to spend my golden years in a home where I'm truly cherished.

My story started out rough. I was abandoned at an emergency clinic...thin, hurting, and so very tired. I had a large sore, dental disease, and a painful eye condition. It was clear I'd gone without proper care for a long time... especially hard for an older guy like me.

But everything changed when C.A.R.E. stepped in. They saw past the pain, took me in without hesitation, gave me the medical care I desperately needed, and placed me in a warm foster home where I could finally rest safely.

And now? I'm feeling better every day and showing everyone who I really am.

I greet every single person I meet with my best senior-cat charm. I'm very food-motivated (okay, extremely food-motivated!) and will happily eat anything and everything put in front of me.

I don't love being held but that doesn't mean I'm not affectionate. I adore rubbing my head on things, leaning in for snuggles, and cozying up next to my humans. When I'm not soaking up love, I'm usually doing what I do best: sleeping... and then sleeping some more.

Oh, and I have a funny little quirk: I wag my tail like a dog. Yep just a happy, friendly old cat with a tail that likes to get in on the action.

I'm simply searching for a calm, loving home where I will never be forgotten or left behind again. If you're looking for a gentle, grateful soul who wants nothing more than comfort, kindness, and steady companionship, I'm your guy. I'd love to be home for the holidays.

Love,
Grant ("Gramps")

https://www.tiktok.com/@carenorthshore/video/7579746697778121997?_r=1&_t=ZT-91vJnJB69Tj
