Grandma Rose's Story
We don’t know how old she is… and honestly, that feels like part of the heartbreak.
This is Grandma Rose. đŸ’”
She came from the Wild Rose trailer park, where she spent years surviving outside—year after year, litter after litter. No warm bed. No safety. Just doing everything she could to stay alive and keep her babies alive.
A kind woman who lived there had been feeding the many cats in the park—some feral, some friendly—and her heart just couldn’t take it anymore when it came to Grandma Rose. She reached out to us, and we went to get her right away.
But we knew… she had babies somewhere.
It took a couple of days of searching, but we found them. And just like that, Grandma Rose finally got a chance to be a mom in safety. She went into a foster home, where she raised her kittens with love and care—probably the first time in her life she didn’t have to be afraid.
Her babies have all been adopted.
And now… she’s alone.
After everything she’s been through, Grandma Rose is sitting in a cage at the shelter. Waiting. Watching. Hoping.
She is so incredibly sweet. Gentle. Loving. The kind of cat who just wants a soft place to land and someone to finally choose her.
She has given her whole life to surviving and to raising babies. Now it’s her turn. Her turn to be spoiled. Her turn to rest. Her turn to know what it feels like to be safe and loved every single day.
Please… someone give this girl the ending she deserves. Let’s make the rest of her life the best of her life.
