Granchester's Story

This wonderful young male cat is in need of a happy ending. Granchester appeared one day in someone's back yard, looking for food and perhaps a bit of kindness. He softly "chirped" at the woman from a safe distance, only venturing near when some wet food was on offer. She was then able to pet him quite easily. Although the woman hadn't seen him in the area previously, she kept a watch out for him, and once she established that his visits were daily and he was sheltering under the skirting of a nearby mobile home, it was time to get him in. And it was a simple matter of picking him up and bringing him indoors.

All this to say that Granchester is a really nice cat. His quiet, gentle demeanor is only surpassed by his affectionate, loving nature. He showed no fuss around the other cats in the home but preferred to take a back seat to any goings on to avoid any potential conflict. This guy is a lover, not a fighter.

Granchester has been neutered, microchipped, vaccinated and treated for parasites. He just needs a quiet home befitting his lovely personality.

If you would like to be Granchester's person, please complete our adoption application in full. We ask for a donation of $250 for each of our rescued cats, for which we offer a charitable tax receipt.
