Gracie May's Story

Gracie May is a striking diluted tortoiseshell beauty-and with that gorgeous coloring comes a touch of classic tortitude. She's confident in her preferences and isn't shy about letting you know the *right* way to do things... which just happens to be her way.

Gracie prefers relationships to move at a slow, respectful pace and may not be ready for pets right away. She isn't overly affectionate at first, but once trust is built, she does enjoy the occasional chin scratch-especially if Churu treats are involved. Most of the time, you'll find her relaxing in a cozy spot, quietly observing the world around her.

Because Gracie has strong boundaries and values her personal space, she would do best in a home without small children. She's looking for an adopter who understands that affection is best when it's earned-and given on her terms. After all, Gracie May fully expects to be the one with you wrapped around *her* finger.

She is accustomed to home life and, once given time to learn her new surroundings, settles in and makes herself comfortable. Gracie may be able to live with another cat who is similarly independent, but very slow and thoughtful introductions would be essential.

If you're seeking a cat with personality, beauty, and a quiet, confident presence, Gracie May may be the perfect companion for you.
