Grace's Story

Hi, I'm Grace!

I'm a 3-year-old beauty with a velvety blue-gray coat that shimmers silver in the light. I'm very shy around people, and I'll be honest: I'm not a lap cat and I may never be one. Trust with humans comes slowly for me, on my terms, over months or even years. I'll do best with a patient adopter who finds joy in small victories, like a calm blink from across the room, and who can offer quiet routines, a gentle presence, and zero pressure.

With other cats, I'm a completely different girl. I'm warm, social, and incredibly friendly, and my feline friends are my comfort and confidence. I absolutely adore my foster parents' other cats, and I play with them every chance I get, chirping and yipping with excitement. For this reason, I must be adopted into a home with at least one other friendly, cat-sociable resident. I won't do well as an only cat.

I'm happiest tucked into a cozy perch, a high shelf, or a soft hidey-bed, watching the world from a safe spot, and even better when I'm sharing it with another cat.

My ideal home: a quiet, patient household with a friendly resident cat and no expectations of instant cuddles.

If you're ready to earn the trust of something truly special, I'm waiting for you.
