Grace's Story

Grace came to us as a new mom who was still a kitten herself! She was found in a greenhouse with her two babies and brought into our rescue. Initially, she was really unsure of humans or other cats, but as she has acclimated to the inside cat life, she has blossomed into a very silly girl.

She has learned how to play with others (cats, dogs, humans, you name it!) and loves being held like a baby. She loves butt scratches so much that she will go on pointe like a ballerina, sometimes with so much intensity that one of her feet will come off the ground!

As a young, single mom, she never really got to experience the kitten life, but she has fully embraced it now. She definitely needs a cat friend that will chase laser pointers with her, and humans that know she is still learning to play. She hasn't been around kids but would be fine with kids that understand cats. She does fine with the dogs in her foster home, but doesn't actively seek them out or cuddle them.

*Please note that most of our kitties will only be adopted out in pairs or to a home with an existing cat or furry companion--dependent upon what is best for them.

If you are interested in adopting Grace, you can find our Adoption Application and more information about our adoption process at http://www.kittycrusaide.org/adopt

Kitty CrusAIDe's Adoption Policy
All of our adoptable pets will be spayed/neutered, up-to-date on FVRCP vaccinations, including rabies if applicable, de-wormed, and microchipped, PRIOR to adoption. Our adoption fee is $150 for a single kitten and $225 for a pair of kittens. If you find a feline friend that you'd be interested in learning more about please visit our website at www.kittycrusaide.org to submit an application. All of our animals are in private foster homes so our adoption process is 100% online. First your application will be screened and a short 15-20 minute phone interview will take place. Then one or several virtual meet & greets will be set up to introduce you to kittens that you're interested in and we feel may be a good fit for your home. A virtual home check will take place before bringing your kitten(s) home to ensure everything is safe and set-up for them. Finally, you'll bring home your new best friend! Our cats/kittens are not "first come, first serve" and forever homes are always chosen based on the best fit for each animal.
