Gouda's Story

My name is Gouda, and despite what you might think, I'm not cheesy at all. I'm just a super sweet boy looking for someone to love.

My siblings and I were rescued from the streets, and ever since then, life has been getting better. I have food in my belly, friends to play with, and a safe place to sleep. But there's still one thing missing: a family of my very own.

I get along wonderfully with the other cats and have a gentle, easygoing personality. While some cats live for pets, I have my own special way of showing affection. My favorite thing in the world is giving head bumps. Whenever my foster mom comes to visit, I climb onto the cat tree and lean in, hoping she'll bump her head against mine. It's my little way of saying, “I'm happy you're here.”

I also have the cutest meow, especially when food is involved. Trust me, I make sure my foster mom knows exactly when dinner time should be.

More than anything, I dream of the day when I won't have to share my love with everyone else. I dream of a home where the head bumps are just for my family, where my adorable meow is part of someone's daily routine, and where I finally belong.

Could you be the person I've been waiting for?

If you have questions about me, please email beaconofhoperescue@gmail.com

To fill out an application, go to https://beaconofhoperescue.com and click 'Adoption Application' at the top. An application is required to schedule a meet and greet.

All Beacon of Hope Rescue cats are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, and FIV/FeLV tested.
