Meet Gopher! <br/>Hate personal space? We have just the cat for you!<br/><br/>Gopher earned her name long before she learned that people are pretty wonderful. While rescuers were trying to catch her, she kept popping up from groundhog holes as if she were playing an endless game of whack-a-mole. Thankfully, her adventures are behind her, and now she's focused on what she loves most being with her humans.<br/><br/>If you're looking for an independent cat, Gopher would politely suggest you keep shopping. This sweet black-and-white girl believes that life is simply better when she's right beside you... or preferably on you. Whether you're working at your desk, watching TV, reading a book, or just walking from room to room, Gopher wants to be your faithful little shadow.<br/><br/>Her current foster mom discovered this firsthand while trying to work from home. Gopher had other plans and insisted that the best place to supervise the workday was curled up in her lap, carefully monitoring every email and mouse click.<br/><br/>Gopher has a serious case of FOMO (Fear of Missing Out). She wants to be included in whatever is happening and isn't shy about letting you know if she's been left out. Shell often call for you when she's alone because, in her mind, spending time together is simply the way life should be.<br/><br/>Despite her love of people, Gopher also gets along well with other cats and has done nicely with respectful younger children (9 and 11). She also gets along well with the two resident dogs.
