Goose's Story

Goose: Professional Snuggler and Instant BFF (Once he trusts you)

If you've ever wished for a best friend who thinks you're the most amazing person in the world five minutes after meeting you, that may not be Goose. But if you're willing to be patient for a few days, and give him a little time to expore and feel safe, he is the easiest, most loving sweet boy ever and you'll tell everyone about how you found the BEST cat in the world.

This handsome orange boy is around 1.5 to 2 years old and he's actually been unlucky in finding his forever family - due to NO fault of his own. His first family ended up with a kiddo who had major allergy issues. That's how he initially came to FGAR. He got adopted in January by a couple that ADORED him, and all was going great. They did a super slow deliberate intro between Goose and their kitty - but she was having NONE of it. Despite doing all the right things - they had to bring him back and now he's on try number 3. If his foster dad didn't have over his limit of cats, Goose would already have his forever home. But his loss is your gain! Goose's favorite hobbies include snuggling, nose boops, nuzzling his face into yours, and following you around just to make sure you're aware that you're his favorite person. He loves to nibble on the fabric of your shirt and then shake his head like a crazy cat. It's hilarious - trust me!

Goose has the kind of personality that turns strangers into friends and friends into family. He's affectionate, gentle, and overflowing with love. Whether you're watching TV, reading a book, working from home, or just trying to walk from one room to another, Goose is ready to be your loyal sidekick and cuddle companion.

His orange-cat credentials are fully up to date, which means he's equal parts sweet, charming, and occasionally a little goofy. Mostly, though, Goose just wants to be close to his people and remind them every day how loved they are.

If you're looking for a cat who will greet you like you've been gone for years, snuggle like it's his full-time job, and become your instant BFF, Goose is ready to waddle his way right into your heart.

Come meet Goose - you'll wonder how you ever lived without him.
