Godiva's Story

Soon, Godiva will be the only one left of her litter. Taffy and Dove are going home together, and Skittles not long after. Godiva may not be as fluffy or as desirable a color, but we promise she's every bit as cute and sweeter than any chocolate! Don't let her become a black cat statistic who has to age out of the kitten room and join our catwalk girl gang (the big girls have already been scouting her from their room next door!).

This 12-week-old is a social butterfly and cuddle bug all wrapped in one adorable package, and she can't wait to be your new best friend. She loves people of all ages and other kittens, and will be just fine with big cats and dogs with proper introductions. She'll miss her sissies when they leave, but she won't be in the kitten room alone for long, as we have 4 new floofball roommates waiting. Godiva is spayed, microchipped and up to date on vaccines.

Apply to adopt your new best friend at www.secondchanceas.org/adopt or at the sanctuary any time we're open. Call 570-376-3646 or email secondchanceas@yahoo.com with any questions.
>> PA kennel license #04944

Second Chance Animal Sanctuaries's Adoption Policy
Our adoption process: 1) Fill out an application on our website at www.secondchanceas.org/adopt. Please note that submitting an inquiry through PetFinder or other online listing does not constitute an adoption application. Applications can also be downloaded as a pdf and emailed to secondchanceas@yahoo.com or filled out at the sanctuary any time we're open. 2) We will process your application by calling your veterinarian and personal references. How long this takes depends on how quickly we can reach them. You can help expedite this process by letting them know we'll be calling from the number 570-376-3646. We may also call you to ask additional questions or to share pertinent information about the animal you've applied for. 3) We will inform you of your application's status, usually in a few days to a week. Even if the animal you hoped to adopt goes to another home, you still may be approved to adopt another animal. We attempt to match animals to homes that best fit their personality/needs and vice versa. NOTE: You do not have to apply for a specific animal on your application. You can submit it as a "pre-application" for a certain size, age or breed of animal, and if approved, we can contact you if a possible match arrives at the shelter.
