GODIVA's Story

Meet Godiva

Godiva is a beautiful short-haired black cat, approximately 11⁄2 years old, with a gentle heart and a sweet nature. She has been spayed and is ready to find a loving forever home.

This lovely girl can be a little shy when meeting new people or entering a new environment, but with patience and kindness, her affectionate personality begins to shine. Once she feels safe, Godiva enjoys quiet companionship and will reward her trusted people with her soft, sweet presence.

Godiva came to us through no fault of her own—her previous owner was no longer able to care for her. She has lived successfully with other cats and may do well with a feline companion, given a proper introduction.

Because she is somewhat reserved, Godiva would thrive in a calm, quiet home where she can settle in at her own pace and build confidence. A patient adopter who understands that some cats need a little extra time to adjust will be richly rewarded by this special girl.

If you're looking for a beautiful companion with a gentle spirit, Godiva may be the perfect match for you. If you are interested in adopting me or another homeless pet at Macomb County Animal Control, walk-in adoption hours are Monday-Friday from 10am-4pm. My adoption fee is $50.
