Gobstopper is a Domestic Short Hair (DSH)/Maine Coon-mix, female, DOB: 7/11/22<br/><br/>One of a litter of 4 sisters, Gobstopper, like all of her siblings, is a loveable little cuddle-bug – an endearing personality who draws you with her super sweet demeanor and that warmly-captivating sparkle in her eyes – so wide with innocence. This adorable young swashbuckler is fearlessly inquisitive and completely unaware of any dangers in the world as she goes about exploring all nooks and crannies, conquering shadows and dust bunnies without a care in the world. <br/><br/>Undemanding, outgoing, and on-the-go as well as extremely affectionate, Gobstopper is the most active and lively of the 4 siblings, enjoying ruff-n-tumble play sessions with her siblings, typically being the instigator for play and adventure-seeking, she falls in-line behind sister, Tootsie Roll once she joins in. A kitten who, like all of her siblings, is happy-to-be-present, confidently self-possessed, and easy-to-please, after the playtime and exploring is over, Gobstopper will be looking for some hands-on-attention, snuggling in the arms of people, and before too long looking to find a warm, comfortable-spot, of course, where she can contentedly laze the afternoon away. <br/><br/>Gobstopper, along with littermates, Baby Ruth, Sourpatch, and Tootsie Roll: came to Monroe SPCA in a unique situation. While we were live trapping local felines for TNR, their mom, Cider gave birth to four beautiful kittens in her live trap. We moved her into secure lodgings where she was able to care for her kittens in peace. The whole family was treated for fleas, Giardia, Coccidia, and Roundworm while in our care. <br/><br/>Now a happy, healthy feline, Gobstopper is looking for her forever home with a family who can give her the time and attention a young cat needs. Although Gobstopper can be adopted individually, we recommend a pairing with one of her siblings or several of our other young cats that have compatible personalities and temperament.<br/><br/>Gobstopper is best suited as an indoor pet and companion for a home with a calm, low-active to moderately active lifestyle and no active young children under the age of six (6). She's comfortable with other compatible cats and kittens, and she’ll be comfortable in the presence of well-mannered, cat-friendly dogs after being given some adjustment time to warm-up and settle into her new surroundings. As with all Monroe SPCA adoptable animals, a home visit and a meet-n-greet with any housemate pets will be required prior to adoption.<br/><br/>Gobstopper currently resides at Monroe SPCA’s Adoption Center and Retail Store. You can meet her by appointment with pre-approved adoption application. To start the adoption process, complete and submit Monroe SPCA’s adoption application linked above.<br/><br/>All Monroe SPCA cats available for adoption have an adoption fee of $85.00. This fee includes the cat being spayed or neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations, dewormed, tested for FeLV and FIV, and microchipped with lifelong registration prior to adoption.<br/><br/>Completed applications can be emailed to info@monroespca.org or dropped off at Monroe SPCA’s Adoption Center and Retail Store located at 293 W.
