GoJo's Story
Estimated date of birth: 02/12/24
Adoption fee: $140
Neutered, up to date on rabies & vaccines, dewormed, on flea prevention
Combo tested: FIV/FeLV are negative; Heartworm positive
Microchipped

Gojo’s owner passed away unexpectedly and found himself living outdoors. Fortunately, friends and neighbors rescued him and foster mom got him fixed and up to date on everything. He is a shy, scared boy and will need a patient and quiet home. He loves to be petted and to eat wet food. Those things are the way to his heart. Once comfortable, he will roll on his back to show you his belly.

Because he is heartworm positive, Gojo is required to be on monthly Revolution. This is the only way to combat it. Heartworms are different in cats than in dogs as cats are not its natural hosts. There is no surgery to remove them thus the importance of being on Revolution. It can take about 2 years for the adult worm to die and Revolution prevents new worms.
