Glade's Story

Meet Glade, a cute as a button gray tabby kitten. Glade was found underneath a trailer with no shelter or regular food source. It's unbelievable he made it through our brutally cold winter. He really is quite a marvel how he was able to survive.

Glade likes pets and has begun to seek them as soon as visitors enter the room and give him some attention. We are very proud of how his confidence has grown. Glade prefers to stay on the ground rather than being held but enjoys being brushed on a lap. He tends to be a social eater, as he likes to eat when receiving affection. He very much enjoys Churus! Glade is interested in toys and especially likes wand toys and the cat dancer. Initially Glade may need to acclimate in a small quiet space with limited hiding places until he is comfortable in his new home. Glade is ready to glide right on into your life!

We believe that kittens are happiest when they have another kitty to play with so Glade will need to be adopted with another kitten here or already have a young playful cat at home. Glade definitely is interested in other kitties and seeks them out for a cuddle buddy.

For the safety of our kittens and for children, we do not adopt kittens under six months old to a home with children under the age of 6.

Glade has been neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. Glade has an approximate birthdate of 11/16/2025. Glade's adoption fee is $120.

If you are interested in meeting Glade or any of the cats at Second Chance Cats of West Michigan, please go to sccatswm.org/adopt to fill out an application, or stop in during open hours on Fridays from 11-2 or Saturdays and Sundays from 11-4.

Please note - we can only adopt to those who live within a one hour drive of Grand Rapids.

Thank you!
