Meet Gizmo - Male - 5 Years Old <br/>Gizmo is a handsome tuxedo boy, whose future could have ended far too soon. We received an urgent call from a local emergency veterinary hospital after a Good Samaritan found Gizmo injured after being struck by a car. Thankfully, they refused to leave him and rushed him in for emergency care. When the veterinary staff scanned Gizmo's microchip, his owners were located. Sadly, they told the hospital they didn't want him and had no intention of coming to get him. That's when Kitties For Keeps Rescue was asked if we could help. Without hesitation, we said yes. Gizmo received the medical care he desperately needed, including a full examination, X-rays, neuter surgery, vaccines and treatment for his wounds. By some miracle, nothing was broken. His biggest injuries were abrasions from the pavement, leaving him with numerous painful sores. Today, Gizmo is recovering beautifully. His wounds are nearly healed, and his sweet personality shines brighter every day. He's a wonderful boy who absolutely loves the company of other cats.
