Meet Gizmo! He is a 3 year old black Maine Coon Mix looking for a new home through PAWS-OK. He has lived with another cat and small dogs in his previous home. His owner passed away last fall and her husband relinquished her cats for us to find great new homes for. Gizmo DOES REQUIRE GROOMING MAINTENANCE ( and doesn't care for it a bit!) so anyone looking to adopt him should have some experience with keeping a long hair cat coat in good condition. <br/><br/>PAWS-OK is a small foster based non profit rescue operating in the OKC area since 2008. All our cats and kittens are spayed or neutered, tested for feline leukemia and FIV, up-to-date on their vaccines, litterbox trained and fostered in a volunteers home. We are committed to placing our rescues in the most loving homes that we can, regardless of how long it takes. Our kittens are kept with their mothers for as long as possible and not offered for adoption until they are at least 16 weeks of age. A handful of our available felines can be seen in the PetSmart Adoption Center in Rockwell Plaza (8357 N Rockwell) during normal store hours. If you are interested in adopting a new cat from PAWS-OK for your family, please go to our Adoption Request form at https://form.jotform.com/pawsokrescue/adoption-request-form. Your Request will be processed by a PAWS Volunteer who may reach out to you via email to clarify your information if needed. Processing normally takes 2-3 business days. If your request is approved, an Adoption Counselor will contact you to set up a phone interview or a time to meet with them at our Adoption Center.
