Ginny's Story
Meet Ginny! This sweet 10-year-old girl is a loving, easygoing cat who knows the finer things in life—cozy snuggles, gentle attention, and having a peaceful place to call home.
Ginny is front-paw declawed and gets along well with other cats. She can be wonderfully snuggly once she feels comfortable, but right now, she’s feeling a little overwhelmed and has been keeping to herself. We think Ginny just needs some time to decompress, settle in, and remember that people can be pretty great. Once she has a chance to open up at her own pace, we expect her sweet personality to shine!
Ginny is frightened by toddlers, so she would do best in a home with older children or adults only where things are a little quieter. If you’re looking for a gentle, mature companion and are willing to give her the time and patience she needs to come out of her shell, Ginny may be the perfect little housemate.

Meet and greet/adoption appointments are highly recommended to ensure the animal you are interested in is currently at the shelter. Please call or e-mail the shelter to set up an appointment to meet and adopt!
DON'T FORGET! Cats often do better with a friend! All our cats and kittens have an "Adopt one and the 2nd at half the adoption fee!" bonus!!!

Our kitten/cat adoption fees vary on age, ($25-125 +TAX) special needs, lonely heart status (cats that have been with us 6+ months), and for our senior to seniors program. Our adoption fees include the following: all of our cats/kittens are current on vaccinations (FVRCP series and Rabies if over 3 months of age) at the point of adoption, dewormed, tested for Feline Leukemia (FeLV) and Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV), treated for fleas/ticks/earmites in addition to being spayed or neutered once the cat reaches 2 lbs in weight. All cats and kittens adopted from the shelter are microchipped. Adoption fees may vary in special circumstances.

Because we are on a busy street, we require that all cats leaving the shelter be in a carrier. All pets are up for adoption until an approved application is processed and their adoption fee is paid.
