Gingerbread's Story

Meet the delicious Gingerbread! This sweet guy found himself at ACCT with a tail injury. Fishtails scooped him up and our awesome foster Erica took him in. Now he's healing well and ready to find his forever home! From his foster: "Gingerbread is overall a very chill inquisitive guy. He loves a lap to cuddle in. He has the orange hunger gene and can be quite the talker when he wants your attention. Gingerbread will make himself right at home on your couch. He has always been social and friendly but really blossoms among other cats and dogs. He seeks pets and affection and follows me around the house." Gingerbreads tail is all healed up and he still wiggles the bit he has left! He loves playing with all toys and treats Gingerbread co-exists well with other cats and dogs at his foster home so a home with cats who can give him space will be fine for him. His family will have to show him some patience in the early days for him to feel safe but once he does, he will reward them with his sweet and loving personality. Fishtails Animal Rescue's Adoption Policy

Fishtails Animal Rescue strives to provide you with a healthy pet. However, the stress of changing environments can lower an animal’s immunity to fight disease and the pet could harbor an infection without displaying symptoms. We cannot guarantee the health of any animal. Any pet adopted out by Fishtails Animal Rescue will be up-to-date on vaccines (unless medically contraindicated), microchipped, spayed/neutered (if age appropriate*), and given a dose of flea/heartworm preventative. The microchip must be registered by the adopter to their new information. *If the animal is not spayed/neutered at time of adoption, the adopter will do so within 2 months after the animal reaches 6 months of age. In addition, if pet is under 16 weeks at the time of adoption, adopter is responsible for boosters for vaccines. Fishtails Animal Rescues is located in Philadelphia, PA and accepts applications within the tri-state area. The first step in our adoption process is to complete the adoption application found on our website. Applications are reviewed within 72 hours of submissions.
