Ginger (Must be Adopted w/Littermate)'s Story
Just sit right back and you'll hear a tale, a tale of a fateful trip.... Yes, the crew from Gilligan's Island has arrived at CCHS! They had been found as strays in the Thorp area. Ginger is 16 weeks old (DOB 9/14/25) and has a pretty medium-length coat of gray tabby and white. She weighs 2#. These kids are sweet and adorable, with typical kittens' antics. They are sure to bring warmth to your heart and a smile to your face! This litter is incredibly close and will need to be adopted in pairs. Apply for Ginger (and a friend) today!

Please note the "Start Your Inquiry" button to the right above is not submitting your application. You can click on "More About Us" to the right and then click on "Adoption Application" button which will take you to our website where you can actually apply. You can also go to cchs-petshelter.org/applying-to-adopt or bit.ly/CCHSadopt. Thank you!

Approved applicants will be notified via email. Please check junk/spam folders for a response.

The adoption fee is $50. We always have a "two-for-one" adoption special on our cats and kittens! Adoption applications can be filled out at CCHS or online through our website, www.cchs-petshelter.org. Applications are not first come, first served. All applications will be reviewed by the adoption committee and the home chosen will be the one considered to be the best match. All cats and kittens have been vaccinated for Distemper, dewormed and microchipped. If old enough, they will also be vaccinated for Rabies and blood tested for FeLV/FIV. Cats and kittens will be spayed or neutered before adoption.

CCHS is proud to be a No-Kill Humane Society. As a private, non-profit charity, our work depends on donations and volunteers to keep going. We are committed to helping the animals that enter our doors and finding each the best possible forever home.
