Ginger's Story

Ginger is a beautiful 2-year-old girl with a gentle, sensitive nature and an independent personality. She can be easily startled by unfamiliar people, noise, or too much activity, so she is looking for a very quiet, peaceful home with an experienced and patient cat owner.

Once Ginger feels safe and trusts her person, she can be incredibly sweet and affectionate. She enjoys sleeping in bed, cuddling, and getting pets — always on her own terms. One of her sweetest little habits is placing her front paw on her person’s hand when she wants more petting.

Ginger enjoys both indoor and outdoor life. She loves the comfort and security of being inside to eat, relax, and sleep, but during the day she often prefers spending time outdoors in a quiet yard. As she gets older, she may naturally choose to spend more time indoors, especially in the right calm environment.

Ginger is friendly with other cats, but she is selective and can be intimidated by stronger or more dominant personalities. She could do well with a mellow, friendly cat who respects her space. She would also be an excellent only cat and may actually feel more relaxed and confident in a peaceful single-cat home.

Ginger needs someone who understands shy, sensitive cats and will respect her boundaries rather than expecting constant interaction. With patience and the right person, she forms a very close bond and becomes a wonderfully loving and devoted companion.

Ginger is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, FeLV/FIV negative, and fully litter-box trained.

If you feel you may be the right person for Ginger, please contact Natalie by email or text at 916-801-2243 and tell us a little about yourself, your experience with cats, and the quiet home you could offer her
