Ginger's Story

Ginger has been living in a foster home since she was unexpectedly born in the closet to a pregnant mama that was trapped earlier the same day! Her Mama and siblings all found loving homes, and now it's Ginger's turn!

Ginger is a sweetheart that will eagerly await your return each day for attention and pets. She wants to eat every treat, catch every bug, and has the loudest purr in town.

Ginger would do best in a loving home with plenty of space to climb and explore, ideally she would have a cat companion and access to a "catio" so that she could safely enjoy some "outside" time. She loves to watch the birds, squirrels, and bugs through the windows of her foster home and lay in the sunshine.

Ginger is itching to play hard, but she tends to defer rather than stake her claim on toys against a dominant foster cat in her current home. In her forever home, we hope she can get as much attention as she craves and deserves- while still having an appropriate feline friend.

She gets along superbly with several other adult cats in the foster home (male and female) as well as having a positive previous experience with a foster puppy. She was curious and patient with the puppy's exuberance as long as she had an escape route!

Ginger could be adopted to a home with an existing cat, and is also available as a pair with Munchkin "Munchie" (see photo).

To connect directly with Ginger's foster family, please email or text Elizabeth at 310-489-2514 or salusfeliscati@gmail.com.

The Purrfect Catch uses a foster to adopt process to help confirm it's a 100% love match with both the humans and any existing household animals. We have a 100% return policy at any time. We also view the person's online presence and do a Zoom/FaceTime meeting to so their home. We do an adoption fair on Saturday's at the San Mateo Pet Club on Norfolk from noon-3 p.m.
