Ginger's Story

Ginger is about 7 months old as of April 2026. Ginger was rescued from a very rough street situation in Paterson and is now safe in foster care in Caldwell, NJ. She’s a young kitten who is slowly learning that people are kind.

She now enjoys lots of gentle pets while eating treats and will sometimes allow affection when she feels safe in her cat hut. She’s started to purr and will softly meow when her foster enters the room, showing she’s beginning to trust.

Ginger is not fully ready to be picked up just yet, and will need a quiet, patient, experienced home to help her continue building confidence. With time, she will truly blossom.

Ginger is being fostered in Caldwell NJ.
