Adoption Pending! Note: Gina is paired up with Lola (posted separately). They are a bonded pair and will be adopted out together. Gina's Personality DOB: March 15, 2026 Gina is an adorable and unique girl - only 20 percent of orange cats are female. This friendly girl doesn't have a care in the world. She likes to talk up a storm and greets you with her meows - telling you about her day. Gina is also extremely active - she loves exploring, racing around and interacting with people. She is also very good at playing with toys on her own - toy mice and balls that she bats around - and responding to battery operated toys. Gina is also very affectionate and loves being petted once she has slowed down from playtime. When she's in a quieter mood, Gina is very loving. She curls up in your lap or next to you to entice you to give her lots of affection. It can be hard to sleep at night or take a nap with her by your side because she has a very loud purr! But once she falls asleep, Gina quiets down as she drifts off into kitten slumberland. What Type of Home Gina Needs Gina needs a home with plenty of room to roam around. This girl also needs a home ideally with more than one person - a family with older kids would be ideal (about 10 years or older) as she is quite rambunctious. Gina is being fostered with Lola - the girls are now buddies and need to be adopted as a pair. Where Gina Came From Gina came into our care from a loving family who could no longer care for her.PLEASE NOTE: we only adopt to residents of the DC metro area, which includes DC, Prince Georges and Montgomery Counties in MD, and Arlington, Fairfax, Prince William, and Loudoun Counties in VA. CAT ADOPTION POLICIES Thank you for considering adopting a cat from us! Please read our adoption policies below. Policies -cats must be indoors only -cats can not be declawed -kittens must be adopted in pairs unless you already have a young, compatible cat at home -adoptions are a lifetime commitment An adoption official makes all final adoption decisions with input from the foster parent. These policies are designed to ensure the health and safety of our cats and the compatibility of the cat with their adoptive family. Our adoption fee is $150 for one cat/kitten and $250 for a pair. These fees help defray the veterinary expenses we have incurred which includes: exams, FELV/FIV testing,age-appropriate distemper and rabies vaccinations,spaying/neutering,* deworming and all other necessary care.
