Gin's Story
*To adopt, please email us for an application form: catsandcuddles.info@gmail.com*

We can't get you the legendary Househusband, but your very own Gin is the next best thing! While he can't clean or cook or do chores with all the zeal of a former yakuza, he is an excellent cuddler and sweet talker and the perfect addition to your home!

This little guy was born (4/18/2025) in San Bernardino to a feral mama with his three other siblings. His brother, Nyanta, got left behind during a family move-- Home Alone style, when his mama got spooked and he was found and rescued by a pair of good Samaritans who contacted Cats & Cuddles through a mutual friend and joined the rescue at the beginning of May. Gin and their two remaining sisters were caught, along with mama at the end of May and joined up with their brother and a bevy of new foster siblings to boot. Their mama was fixed and released as she was a feral community cat!

Gin is full of dichotomies-- sometimes he is as quiet as a whisper, following you like a shadow, observing the world with eyes as big as dinner plates and ears that look like they're searching for a wifi signal-- other times he is full of energy, singing the song of his people as he climbs your pant leg (he's very good about nail trims thankfully!) and demands that you give him love, attention, food, or all three! His mouth constantly looks like it might be open due to a grey goatee he has on his chin.

This little guy has spent the last few months with a large kitty family, with his three siblings and five foster siblings. He gets along well with other cats and definitely needs to be adopted into a home with a friendly younger cat as a playmate, or with one of her foster siblings.

We are unsure of how Gin would do around cat-friendly dogs, though he might do well with slow and proper introductions. Gin is a little nervous sometimes, though he takes his cue from those around him and can get more confident the more comfortable he feels, because of this we think that families with older children who are very cat-savvy about respecting his boundaries would be best.

His adoption fee is $175, payable to Cats & Cuddles, a local non-profit rescue dedicated to giving cats like Gin and his foster siblings the chance to find loving forever homes.

Want to meet him to see if you fall head over heels for this tiny man? Email his foster at catsandcuddles.info@gmail.com to receive an application and schedule a meet and greet! He hopes to play with you soon!
