Gidget's Story
Name: Gidget
Breed: Domestic Short Hair
Sex: Spayed Female
Age: 2 months
Weight: 2.75 lbs
Animal Number: 4535

Sassy, Super Fun, Playful Wild Child - Meet Me in Purrson at Chuck & Dons Cherry Creek!

Good with dogs? Not Tested, but she would likely do well with a friendly dog, following a proper introduction.

Good with cats? Yes, she is brave and friendly with the resident cats in her foster home. If she lives with other cats, theyll need to tolerate her energetic kitten antics!

Good with kids? Not Tested, but she would likely do well.

Energy level: High - she really, really loves to play! Gidget thinks she is a mighty huntress and is not afraid to pounce on something much larger than herself. She loves to run around and is great at entertaining herself, but loves interactive play with other cats and fun loving humans.

Medical needs: Precious baby Gidget was found in the middle of the street crying because she couldnt see. Her left eye has a cloudy area that formed as a result of a severe upper respiratory infection. Shes not in any pain and her quality of life is not affected at this time, but there is a possibility that she could develop glaucoma later in life as a result of this pre-existing condition, and may even need her left eye removed. It is impossible to predict if or when this complication might develop, but prospective adopters should be aware that Gidgets eye condition may require future veterinary monitoring and could result in medical expenses should complications arise.

Animal Characteristics: Gidget is an adorably sassy, wild child kitten! She is very energetic and loves to play, but also loves to be petted and is learning how to interact with other cats and people. She can be a little shy at first, but warms up quickly and sasses people in the cutest ways possible to get their attention! She STRUTS around her room with the confidence of a lioness. She was found as a tiny, solo kitten and is so excited to explore all the companionship and happiness she can soak up in this big, wonderful world! Gidget is very ready for her loving forever home, probably with a fun kitty playmate or two!

Please learn more about the adoption process and fill out an application at www.pawsco.org/adopt/adoption-process.
