They brought Gibson to safety and contacted our rescue, giving this beautiful boy the second chance he desperately needed. <br/><br/>Today, Gibson is healthy, fully vetted, and finally ready to find the loving family he has always deserved. <br/>Gibson is absolutely gorgeous — a big, fluffy teddy bear! But his beauty is only part of his charm. We will share all medical information gathered during the wellness examination and anything observed during the cat’s time in our care.<br/>However, some illnesses can have an incubation period of approximately 10–14 days, meaning a cat may leave our care appearing completely healthy and develop symptoms several days after adoption. The stress of moving into a new environment can also temporarily affect a cat’s immune system.<br/>Adoption is a commitment to a lifetime of love, care, patience, and veterinary responsibility. <br/>I also corrected “feline infectious periodontal” to the proper term feline infectious peritonitis (FIP) and made the medical disclaimer clearer without making it sound alarming.
