What is Farmington Pet Adoption Center’s adoption process?

We require current pets to be spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and dogs current on heartworm prevention. :) Please call ahead of time prior to coming to meet the pet you are interested in. Certain pets may be unavailable some days due to adoption events or vet appointments. We are not first come first serve. We choose the best fitting home for each pet! Dogs and puppy adoption fees range from $150-$300. Cats and kittens adoption fees are $120 All of our pets are completely vetted and microchipped. How to reach us: dogs@farmingtonpet.org for dogs cats@farmingtonpet.org for cats HOW TO APPLY: -Print application -Fill out application -Take a photo of each page and send to one of the emails above OR -Save the adoption application and open in Adobe or other similar computer program -If on a phone of tablet, Click to blue icon in the bottom right and choose "Fill and Sign" -If on a computer, Click "tools" and then "Fill and Sign" -Complete the adoption application and email to one of the emails above

Gibbs is good with kids under the age of 5 and kids over the age of 5.

Is Gibbs good with other animals?

Gibbs is good with other cats. It is not known if Gibbs is good with dogs.

When can I meet Gibbs?

As soon as the adoption organization has a chance to review your information, they’ll reach out with next steps and timing.

When can I adopt Gibbs?

Time to adopt varies, but typically adoption organizations require an official application prior to adoption. If you’re a match, they’ll reach out with next steps and timing.
