Germany's Story
Meet Germany, a gentle soul who is slowly discovering that the world isn't such a scary place after all.

When Germany first arrived, he was quite shy and unsure of his new surroundings. But with time, patience, and kindness from our volunteers, he has been warming up beautifully. Now he's often one of the first to greet us, eagerly soaking up every pet and bit of attention he can get.

While he's adapting to shelter life, what Germany really dreams about is a quiet home to call his own. He would love to spend his days curled up beside someone special. He would be perfectly happy sharing long cozy naps with his person.

Germany is declawed (a procedure we do not condone-he came to us this way), so he will need an indoor home where he feels safe and secure. The good news is that he does well with other cats and may also do well with older children who understand that he might need a little time and space as he continues to build confidence.
