Despite facing more than his share of medical challenges, he never lets them dim his sweet spirit or his desire to be close to his favorite people. You can see him just light up whenever he's getting human attention. <br/><br/><br/>Gerald is also a tiny fuzzy shadow who will follow you every chance he gets. In fact, he's earned the nickname "spider monkey" because he loves to cling to your shirt and snuggle as close as possible. Being held is his happy place; he'll gladly spend hours soaking up your love and affection, like a little kitty-shaped sponge.<br/><br/><br/>His resilience is truly inspiring as well. Even through dealing with serious eye issues, and skin issues, and many other typical rescue kitty issues to boot, his sweetness has never wavered. He just keeps being this ball of sunshine who can't wait to be touched and cuddle with you. <br/><br/><br/>Some background: Gerald was discovered when he showed up at his finder's house with no kitty mom in sight. He had goop in his eyes, and appeared to be unwell overall, so the finder asked for our help, knowing he needed additional care beyond what they were able to give him. He's become one of our snuggliest little fighters to date, right from day one! <br/><br/><br/>He's looking for a family who will cherish him, spoil him with cuddles, and let him remind them every day just how powerful unconditional love can be. We predict some serious soulmate kitty experiences for whomever adopts him.
