Georgie's Story

Georgie — The Three-Pawed Wonder with a Heart Full of Love

Hi, I'm Georgie.

Life got off to a pretty tough start. I was rescued from a feral colony in Fresno, but despite where I came from, I'm about as far from feral as you can get. It's something I was born with, and honestly? It doesn't slow me down one bit. I run, play, climb, and zoom around just like any other cat. I've never known anything different, so I don't spend much time thinking about it—and neither should you.

What I do think about is spending time with my people.

I'm incredibly affectionate and happiest when I'm close to someone I trust. If you sit down on the floor, there's a very good chance I'll hop right into your lap. Once I'm there, I'll gently guide your hands toward me for more pets and happily shower your face with sweet kitty kisses. Being close to my favorite human is my favorite place to be.

I still get a little nervous around loud noises and very tall people, but having someone I trust nearby gives me all the confidence I need. I would do best in a home with another friendly cat to keep me company. Having a feline buddy helps me feel safe, gives me someone to play with, and makes me even happier.

Even though I'm all grown up, I still have a wonderfully kitten-like spirit. I love chasing toys, racing around the house with the occasional burst of zoomies, and then completely wearing myself out—sometimes falling asleep in the funniest places.

I'm looking for someone who sees me for who I am—not a cat missing a paw, but a resilient, loving companion with so much affection to give. My perfect home includes another friendly cat to share playtime, naps, and everyday adventures. If you're looking to add a sweet, affectionate boy to your feline family, I think we might be the perfect match.

Follow Georgie's foster adventures on Instagram: @fosterkisas

Rescued from a feral colony in Fresno, California.

Please note:
- Indoor only

For more information or to apply for Georgie, please go to:
https://www.givemesheltersf.org/adoption/cat.php?id=12455

[id=12455;ts=1788447622;src=pf]
