Georgia is a beautiful 6-1/2 year old female kitty who was surrendered by her family on October 14th 2026.

This gorgeous girl has a dark brown/orange/cream long-haired coat, a long fluffy tail, and an adorable face with golden eyes, a black velvet nose, and long black whiskers.

Georgia was given vaccinations on October 14th 2026.

Georgia had been with her family since she was a tiny 6-month old kitten, and she had enjoyed six years in her home. Georgia's life changed recently when a new (human) baby arrived in her household, and she did not adapt to the new arrival. Georgia was apparently jealous of the baby and began to destroy the baby's belongings. Her family noted that Georgia 'needs low stimulation' and would likely do best in a home with no babies/tiny children (or other cats).

These photos of Georgia were taken on October 15th 2026 when she enjoyed out-of-cage time in the lobby of our shelter with HSOV Kennel Tech Emily Beaver. Georgia was a pleasure to photograph while she posed on the sofa and jumped down to stroll leisurely through the lobby.

Georgia has already been spayed. She is a big girl who weighs 12.3 lbs. If you like big kitties, Georgia would love to make your acquaintance.

Georgia is currently being showcased at WeLovPets (Lafayette Plaza, Marietta Ohio) where she is available for adoption through HSOV.
